04/02/2024 - After an active day of severe weather across the country, we are starting to receive reports:

  • EF-1 in Louisville communities of Prospect and LaGrange in Oldham and Henry counties. Dozens of homes damaged. No reports of fatalities.

  • Two rounds of storms Tuesday produce multiple tornadoes in Louisville region - WLKY Louisville KY News Story

  • MORGAN COUNTY, Tenn. — An "extremely dangerous' tornado seen touching down left damage across Morgan and Scott counties after a wave of severe weather hit East Tennessee Tuesday afternoon - A Tornado Watch has been issued for all of East Tennessee and remains in effect, including Knox, Blount, Sevier, Loudon and Roane counties until Wednesday at 2 a.m". 10NEWS Story


CBS NEWS Story. "A tornado watch was also in effect for parts of central Kentucky and Tennessee, including Nashville and its surrounding areas. They are set to expire at 3 p.m. CDT, although meteorologists warned that powerful "and potentially long-track tornadoes are possible from Indiana and Ohio southward into the Mid South" through the evening."

I talked with Melinda at the Governors office and also with Kim who heads up the Alabama VOA D, and so far they have not received any requests for assistance
